This is a fantastic piece of clothing, very versatile and somehow seems to deliver the right amount of warmth when you need it, i often just wear this over a lifa top and under a gore tex when in the hills...sorted, if you dont have one..get one.

I never knew you could be so warm with such a lightweight item, which stuffs into its own chest pocket!!! The Rab Generator Vest now has pride of place when out on the hills or on tour under a smock. The only very minor issue I have is the lower pockets don't have zips (but this is personal preference only) But I would not go anywere without it or replace it.

Warmth without weight even at very low temperatures. Does not impair ability to move and keeps you warm and dry when active. i like it so much I have also bought the generator jacket and will take both to the artic when I go watching polar bears. Highly recommended.
