I bought these gloves because they were thin, and I wanted to use my hands i.e for taking photos and doing things requring your fingers. Most gloves you cannot do much with because they are bulky, but these were great, and they kept my mands nice and warm. The thin material does not mean that warmth is comprmised. I have used these gloves, on Bodmin moor, Dartmoor and on the Pennies, and they were great. For colder conditons you can always put another pair on top. Super value for the price paid.
