Lovely bag, 27 February 2010
By walkingisfab321
After usinga Berghaus Freeflow 25 for a couple of years, I decided to replace that with a 30 litre. None that I fancied, but came across this one in the sale for £20.

The first thing I liked about it was the plenty of pockets, spacious room and the air cooled mesh back panel. I like the front mesh pocket, the side pocket which has easy access for maps etc. The second pocket is used for gloves, hat or snacks to hand and has handy little compartments for keys, money pens, torch, notebook. The third pocket and I would say it the main pocket, has loads of room for spare clothing, food and a flask. The front of the pack has plenty of loops for using belt clips, I use mine for a 500 ml Sigg bottle. The shoulder straps are nice and comfy, even after a tough 16 mile walk. The waist belt is ok, but I would prefer a wider belt. The downside is no hydrate pouchin the main compartment, no outer mesh pockets for drink bottles and no built-in rain cover, otherwise I would voted it 5 stars. But, hey for the price, so what. I can recommend it.

The bag of all bags..., 31 January 2010
By dcoutdoors
I've got through a few bags of this size due to heavy use and I've always been aware of the weaknesses these bags had. This Pax 30 seems to have addressed these issues in terms of amount of pockets, thier design, zip placement and strong straps. I love this bag if thats not too odd to say. I carry all the usual gear as well as a heavy SLR camera with extra lens... not a problem and comfy too. Go get one.
