Delicate, 28 May 2013
By Pablo (Manchester)
It costs less than £7! C'mon people!
I had mine for about a year, you just have to be careful getting in and out of it, that's all. I would still be using it if my mate hadn't pushed on the arms to get his fat bum out of it (snap).
It does the job, is convenient, and you don't cry if you have to leave it on site!

Useless, 25 November 2012

Shoddy. Broke after about 6 sits on first day of use.
Not misused but just not fit for purpose

Good Value, 16 September 2012
By happycamper (North East)
No complaints from me for these chairs, i'm 15 stone and they hold my weight fine, for the price I didn't expect them to be comfy but just as comfortable as a deck chair. Used them a few times for long periods and still in good condition.

Nevada Camping Chair, 03 August 2012
By BRoy
This chair lasted all of 30 minutes from new! As I stood up the left arm of the chair completely buckled and the bracket linking it to the seat snapped leaving it completely useless!

Would be very weary of purchasing from Go Outdoors again.

uncomfortable, 14 April 2012
By chicken tayls (north east)
Good value for money and have lasted the test of time. Only issue is they are not comfortable so a chair pad is needed as it feels like the edge cuts into your leg otherwise.
We are looking to buy more comfortable chairs come the sales

Not good, 06 February 2012
By TJ
Bought two of these chairs in December. One chair broke the first time it was used. The second chair has also only been used once but the seems have already started to rip apart. Very cheap to buy but its a false economy.

We like them, 07 September 2011
By keeno77 (Northampton)
We really like these. Touch wood; we havent had any issues. These have been used camping and days out all through the summer without issue! The only gripe I have is that the box that these had been delivered in had been opened with a razor/stanley knife and the chair has literally been cut in half! This is not a manufacturing defect though, so no complaint. Just wish warehouse people would think more....Thanks Go Outdoors :)

Useless, 04 September 2011
By James
Bought two of these Chairs for a camping weekend, one failed within the first hour, the second lasted until the 2nd day where it too died

Both had rivets tear out of the Plastic corners, the second one also broke on of the tubes where they cross in the centre

Despite being cheap, I would of hoped that they would have lasted at least a few months!

Waste of Money. False economy, 24 August 2011
By JanP (Bolton)
We bought 2 of these before our 3 week holiday. They weren't even taken out of the bag before we left so were brand new on arriving at our destination. The first one broke on day 7. We patched it up with string but it didn't last the rest of the day. The second one managed to last the full holiday again with lots of string attached. One of the leg screws disappeared so had to be slotted back in every time it was moved. On the last night I honestly didn't know how it held my weight, perhaps it was just how I was sitting on it. I will not be buying such cheaply made chairs in the future. This is not the first set of chairs like this we have bought and none of them have lasted more than 2 holidays

By Chris M (Leek)
I brought 2 of these for a camping trip to Shrewsbury, 1 died in the space of 2 days, the second looks like it may be on its way out.

Not recommended, 14 August 2011
By Kez (Coleshill)
Bought two of these chairs for our 1st weekend camping trip but they didn't last the weekend. Bought them cheap but don't feel thats any excuse for them breaking so quick.
1st chair had a hole in the drinks holder on arm when we took it out of the bag. The 2nd one tore very easily where the base and back of seat join, before the arm completely snapping and collapsing. Wouldn't recommend. Worth paying slightly more for something that will last! On the plus side staff were very helpful when I took them back.

Hi Gear Nevada Camping Chair, 14 August 2011
By Simon (York)
Bought a cheap chair thinking this would do the job for our once a year camping trip.

But unfortunatley the phrase buy cheap buy twice was true as the chair broke.

I am 16 stone so the chair would be ok for the kids but next year I will buy a stronger chair.

The carry bags are also weak with the stitching splitting around the carry handle.

Good for the money, 13 August 2011
By ssizefive
Despite reading the other reviews i purchased 2 of these chairs about a year ago & have just had to replace one of them due to the rubber on one of the arms failing - this was after being used just about every weekend which i dont think is too bad.

Not very good, 25 July 2011
By KAM81
We're new to camping so I bought 2 of these chairs to help keep the cost down as we had to buy all our camping kit from scratch.

They're not very good, even for the price. We've just come back from our second weekend camping trip and had to leave one of the chairs there in the rubbish skip!

It seems to be a common weakness on these chairs as ours also broke on the arm, part snapped off and part came undone at a bolt.

The mesh for the drink holder in the arm isn't very strong, we had a big hole appear in both of our chairs after the first use.

There's also a bit of rubber/plastic that reinforces the hole on the seat where the leg comes through. This warped and lifted after the first use, would annoyingly stick in the users leg.

I would not recommend buying these. I am already on the lookout for more.

dont buy, 25 July 2011
By mel6152 (stoke on trent)
the arms on the chairs broke within 2 days of using these chairs.
i know you get what you pay for but i would of liked for them to have lasted at least the week that we were camping
the pivet on the arms became loose and the steel arms snapped

Dont Buy, 06 July 2011
By fence (Bristol)
Bought two of these
cheap enough
but only lasted one event
screws were loose in the packaging
steel tubes bent with no effort
was a waste of money really
so not recommended

Fantastic, 06 July 2011
By SJ
bought these as we were going camping "not glamping" on a budget, they did the job, were slight to pack when travelling, and relaxing each evening after a long day walking.
