Good, but, 02 September 2011

Cooker was ok, though a little slow at times. Though it was wind shields these weren't the best and in windy conditions, the flame extinguished. Worthy of note, you have to purchase a regulator and hose seperately adding extra £s to that bargain, this wasn't explained on the packaging (unless i'm blind?). Overall a good little stove.

bought this to use on our camping trips and then had to buy a regulator and then had to buy the most expensive gas to use. we found the flame kept going out whilst cooking even with the wind shelter up and only a light breeze. it is heavy with the gas and takes up a lot of space. we are going to but 2 small stoves instead to save space and because they cooked the same food in less time by a friend of ours.

Fantastic little cooker, two rings plus grill is all you need on a camping trip. Easy to put up and connect, the wind shields at the sides are a bonus when it's breezy. All in all a very good piece of equipment.
Hi Gear burner camping stove, 09 August 2011

This was our first camping stove. We found it easy to assemble but the wind breaks were a bit flinsey and did not fix into place, spranging out at the slightest movement when cooking. The grill was slow and can only toast one slice at a time. Boiling the kettle took minutes which was far quicker than expected. The automatic ignition was very useful instead of having to find matches although it took my husband a few minutes to figure out how to light the grill. Would certainly recommend this as a starter for camping.

I bought this product h\ving had no previous experience of cooking whilst camping. I found it really easy to use, and was able to boil a kettle in just a few minutes. Managed to connect to gas supply with no problem. Found the wind shields a bit awkward to fix into place, which is the only reason I gave it 4/5. Both sides didn't want to fit in the slots at the same time. It folds away easily for easy transportation.

Brilliant value-for-money product. Robust, works well, & the windbreak shields are very effective. My wife enjoys using it, & I enjoy eating the food she makes -- only joking -- I do more than my fair share. All my wives have loved being married to me.
Its a great product!, 26 July 2011

This is the best buy so far this season. The added grill and two hobs are all easy to use and spark up a cup of tea with no fuss whilst I make a meal for four. The kids love having toast too!

We bought this item so that it would make meal times easier for us when camping, and it has done just that. Having the luxury of two hobs and a grill means that we can cook almost any meal on it, and the built in windbreaker is a bonus feature of this product. Also very compact when packed away for travelling with.

Bought this last summer and it does the trick. As others have said the side panels are not great, but they do keep the wind off a bit (they don't all have them).
Lights easily, good uniform flame on hobs. Grill works fine, though is a bit small for our large family. Used it for toast and sausages.
I like it, and for the price, it's very good value.

Ok.. so there may be a design issue in that the lid clips tend to be a bit flimsy, and the ignitor for the grill looks like it's for the left burner but to be honest we found it worked really well.
We picked it up on a last minute dash for supplies after having seen it in the store for a bargain price.. We'd been contemplating picking one up for a while and it seeemed too good to miss. How right we were...
Toasting did take a while but that's not a problem, came in handy when we wanted to keep a few things warm... In fact we found it so useful that we set it up whilst we ripped our kitchen out at home... and it's still up... really should get round to finishing that off...

Grill or not a Grill, 18 June 2011

I replaced a three ring stove with this stove this summer and have mixed feelings on it.
The side cheeks are a little flimsy, but as I was using the stove mainly under cover, this did not prove to be a problem.
The igniters where an asset, we had no problem at all with them, and it certainly did away with trying to find dry matches on damp mornings/evenings.
This cooker was initially purchased for the convenience of having the grill, but it proved a massive disappointment.
Toast took forever, and I wouldn't like to think how long it would take to cook a steak or chop.
It was however a great warming plate, so that even though I only had two rings instead of three, I was able to cook things in batches, and keep them warm until the whole meal was ready to be served.
Given a choice I will go back to my old cooker, and use the £6.00 budget toaster I bought from a supermarket, whilst away with this cooker.

generally good did what i asked it takes an age to do toast and as prviously stated the side clips are a bit flimsy and fit where they touch

Queen Of Maps said only one of the igniters worked. I thought this too but on closer inspection found that the right igniter works BOTH rings while the left is for the grill. Confusingly the grill igniter is next to the control knob for the left ring! Not great design.
The clips for the side screens are a little flimsy but other than that it's okay. Not great though.
