Great value, Great tent, 10 January 2012

Bought this tent last year, and it was fantastic, for our needs.
We are fair weather campers, and there are only three of us, most of the time, so a fair bit of room inside. It would be a squeeze with 5 in.
Pretty easy to put up with only two young children assisting (my husband doesn't generally 'do' camping except for the very rare night)
Great value, would have given it a 5, if the groundsheet had been sewn in. The Caplan 5 has, and think this possibly a good upgrade. I have used an extra ground sheet and this has worked out fine.
I would quite like a porch or add on, but don't think anything would fit!!
Overall am very happy, as bought it whilst reduced, and so far i have got more than I paid for!!

bought this tent whilst a sale was on and it was a bargain price.
found this tent very easy to put up with two could be done with one but wouldn't advise it.
tent is very roomy although there are 3 of us living area is spacious too. it kept out the bad weather we had down in cornwall with no problems. my only gripe with it is the ground sheet not sewn in all round but other than that if your thinking of purchasing go ahead and get it.

We used the tent 3 times and on the third holiday the porch zip bust. Not handy when camping during a British 'summer'. Emergency gaffer tape job to prevent flooding.
Prior to that the tent was superb. Fantastic head room and easy to erect in most weather conditions. A little tricky in high Welsh winds.

This tent is brilliant. Some tents are cramped but this one has loads of space and lots of head height. There is plenty of room by the door for storage. I have been away with the family for a weeks holiday to the East coast of Scotland. The weather wasn't too bad although we did have a few days of heavy rain.This tent however was really comfortable. We never got wet and it survived the really strong winds. The tent was very easy to errect and take down. I think that this is a brilliant tent and fully recommend it.

Great tent for getting away from it all. Very simple and quick to set up, and lots of room for us, the dog and all our gear. Stood up well in the mixture of weather we had on the North Devon coast. Excellent quality at a great price.

Purchased this tent after using small 2 man tents for years. This is an excellent tent easy to pitch and strike can do it myself in around 10mins. There is plenty of room in the porch and bedroom!!

Very good for the price and very waterproof - rain was torrential at times on our holiday in Wales but the whole front of the tent was completely blown down and one of the guy lines was ripped off the tent in 35-40mph winds one night

My first tent used for T in the Park 2011. Found tent easy to erect. Given that we had heavy persistent rain on sunday, sleeping area was dry with no leaks. Large sleeping area with good living space. Would defo recommend - fab tent fab value.

Bought this tent for a music festival just north of Inverness. As a family this was our first time camping and my two daughters (ages 13 and 10) were not looking forward to the experience. On the final day the heavens opened (July's rain fall in two days fell on us) but the tent stood up to the task. Daughters loved the tent. I highly recommend this tent.

Just got back into camping and purchased this tent. Plenty of room for me and the dog. I can stand up in the sleeping and porch bit. Easy to put up and will even pack up into the bag provided. A good buy

As a born again camper and a man with a readymade family I had to get some new equipment. This tent is amazing value for the usual price, let alone the ridiculously low sale price ! Managed to pitch it in a Welsh gale practically alone and it stood up to all that was thrown at it. The tent has plenty of space, especially living space, which is important if you’re stuck inside for any length of time. One slight downside is the bedroom divider not being fixed, but even that gives you the option of one big bedroom if that’s what you need. Overall I can’t fault this tent, even my fiancée who vowed never to camp loves it!

This tent big enough for 2 Adults & 3 Kids, Took 45 mins to put up 1st attempt but since then 10 to 15mins(took longer to pump up airbeds). Like many other reviews we bought this for first time camping with family to see how kids liked it, they loved it.Well worth the money. Perfect for 2 or 3 nights away at a time.

This tent is a superb family tent. We purchased for weekends away in all weather and havent been dissapointed. Its perfect for 2 adults and 1 or 2 children but if your using air beds there's not enough room for 5!!

This is a fantastic easy to assemble tent, ideal for a family of 4, it is spacious enough for a four day camp and it has inspired us to get a Kalahari 8 and go further for longer next time

This is mine and my partners first tent together. We wanted something that would accomodate us 2 but also our alyestone bulldog who sleeps with plenty of space in a corner of the bed area. We went camping recently with my parents in law and they were in a 2 man tent, in the evening the weather closed in so all 4 of us were sat in the 'living area' with our beers and a camping table in the middle and did not feel cramped in, both my partner and father in law are 6ft tall so need lots of space. Ideal for couples and young families.

Myself and 2 children have just used this tent for 3 nights camping....we've never camped before and bought this tent as it was a good price since we weren't sure if we'd get on with camping! Well, we loved it. When we arrived at camp, we had this tent up and were sitting in it drinking tea whilst others were still putting theirs up, its basically 3 poles. The bedroom area is fab as its fully enclosed so no insects found their way inside and big enough to put everything in, the porch area was just about big enough to put 3 chairs and others bits in. I'm glad I bought it!

If yu are loking for a roomy value tent that'll keep you dry and happy - you just found it!
Great size (stand up inside unless you're over 6'), lots of hnady openings and windows, easy and quick to erect and dismantle and best of all the price means you can buy lots of new airbeds and such to make your trip even more comfortable! Excellent quality and fully recommended.
