Does exactly what you expect, 08 April 2013
By Emma (Cornwall)
We wanted folding bikes so as to not have to worry about bike racks and these looked perfect. Two of them folded up fit neatly into the boot of our car and we have had a few cycle rides on them. We have had to adjust the gears to make then run smoothly but they are just great. Much more sturdy than you would imagine!

No thrill folding bike, 22 November 2012
By Gus (London)
Bought this when it was half price, and I was extremely happy with this initially.

Overall, it is not a bad folding bike. I've been using it for 6 months and it helps me to commute daily between tube stations and home+work. It is very heavy, however, when it is folded it is possible to push it around with the seat attached.

Quality is not exactly great --- the folding mechanism of the handle bar (i.e. two nudges that holds the quick release bolt and metal plate), one of them has snapped after the 4th month. I now have to be extra careful when riding it, in case if the other nudge snaps off as well.

Similar to "eagleye", I could never use the 1st gear as the chain keeps coming off. So there are really 4 gears and thankfully I could use the 5th gear (allows you to go faster).

As "kingdr" has mentioned, both peddles do fold.

The seat was very hard to begin with (almost unbearable on the 1st week), but it'll soften after a month usage.

My other issue with this bike is the seat post design --- after 4 weeks, the post bends and I cannot retract the seat any more. So I have to detach it every day as a workaround, and rotate the metal post in order to let it bend it back to semi-straight!

Good for the price when on offer, 21 June 2012
By eagleye (Surrey)
Picked up two when they were on half price offer. Took them on a camping holiday. Took up a bit more room than I expected when folded (a bungy wrapped around the frame helps keep it closed). Unfolding to riding away takes about 1 minute. Very easy. Only issue I have is that I can only get three gears working nicely. The other gears either keep jumping out or make a lot of noise because they are not aligned properly. I've tinkered a bit and maybe with a bit more adjustment it will get better. It's the only bike I've got the wife on in 15 years where she feels confident and comfortable. So overall, I'd recommend to others to go and buy one.

Ok but not exactly as per the pics shown on the website, 05 May 2012
By Sumi (London)
just got it today rode it for more than and hour. Overall ok, made of good material, folds easily, decent looks for the price but the handle is a bit wobbly, the tightening screw is made of plastic so you cannot tigten after a certain level without the risk of breaking it. Seat is also a bit uncomfortable i could not sit for more than 10-15 mins at a stretch without having to get down to take a break after the first strech of around 20 mins
Does not fold well so not at all good for commute on the bus or tube as it does not have any mechanism to keep it locked in the folded position. So if you try to hold it from the seat to carry a littel distance, its going to be very difficult and clumsy as well.
The folded picture on the site shows that the paddle will also fold but that is not the same so probably not exactly the same bike as shown in the picture

great Bike, but why is the instruction for the wrong bike, 23 September 2011
By helen (Wiltshire)
Great Bike, few problems with the tyres going down at beginning. Only one moan, why is there no luggage rack on it though, which would be very helpful.

Well worth the money, 12 August 2011
By Nicky (Gloucester)
I bought this bike as a means of getting between locks on a narrowboat holiday.
I wasn't disappointed. It opens/folds very easily and does the job just fine. Instructions were for a totally different bike but with a bit of common sense, it went together very easily.
Well worth the money and I wish i'd bought a couple when they were on offer. They would make excellent xmas presents. Fold nice and small for easy storage.

great value for money, 02 August 2011
By Mikevan (Stroud)
This is an excellent, well built folding bicycle. The assembly process was easy and the test ride was great. It fits very well into the boot of a peugeot 207sw. The mudguards are excellent and stop you getting a wet and muddy back. All in all a very good product.

Great buy, 18 July 2011
By Dave (Gloucester)
We bought two of these today and we are very pleased with them. The bikes came perfectly set up mechanically, only the clamps needed slight adjustment to ensure peace of mind. The ride and handling are very good even though the bikes feel small. The only gripe is that the instructions with both were for a totally different bike, instructions were not necessary if you used common sense.

A must buy- a bike for anyone & everyone., 06 May 2011
By Dobbi (Manchester)
This bike is excellent. Great value for money. Not only is it easy to fold & store, it is also very sturdy & safe to ride on all terrains.

Great for older children, women & men due to the adjustable seat & handlebar flexibility.
