i got these as my first climbing shoes as they are extremely comfortable, and despite many climbers saying that if they're comfortable they dont perform well, i think these do an admirable job. the lateral stiffness makes them good for edging, but they also smear well too due to the super sticky rubber sole. the adjustment in fit is exellent as the lacing extends to the toes and allow'es a taylored fit for most foot shapes, a good all round, all day shoe!
