delighted with my hillmasters - comfortable straight from the box - tough and lightweight. An excellent pair of boots.
uncomfortable to walk in, 23 December 2010

I bought these as highly recommended on many sites- but am disappointed- the sole is so rigid that walking feels more like balancing - very odd on anything like a normal path, and almost unwearable in town if not actually walking on snow (eg, can't easily walk indoors in shop). Grip is excellent and they are fullywaterproof- but I just cannot get used to them.

Very light & Comfortable compared to my old Brasher Boots. Only concern is the tung area does let a liitle water in from time to time.
"A nice pair of boots", 25 February 2010

I bought these for my partner who told me that they gave her a greater sense of security on the hills than her previous pair of 3-season boots. She was also pleased with the minimal requirement to break them in which was aided by the low cut ankle padding. In her usual understated manner she gave them an overall rating of "a nice pair of boots"

I've had mine for over six years and looking to replace - with a new pair.
This was the first footwear I never had to break in, Goretex means definite waterproof, especially with stitched in tongue, sole very good on different terrain, comfortable all round boot. Very good ankle protection which is very important on rough ground. Also a good looking classic design.

Best boots ever, 31 January 2010

Bought these boots approximately 12 months ago having always bought cheap end boots. I have walked in various conditions of slutch, wet, snow and ice and have always had excellent grip. Stood in deep puddles and not a bit of water has touched my socks making the walking a fantastic pleasure. Despite putting them through their paces they have always come up clean with nikwax and look like new, ready to walk to the pub or shops. Even when they were new these were he comfiest boots ever. Will certainly recommend Brasher.

Ladies Brasher Hillmaster Boots, 26 January 2010

I bought my pair a year ago and initially they seemed strange to walk in as they tend to roll, however they are now like a pair os slippers. I have hiked over Austrian Mountains, rambled across local fields, worn out just casually with jeans and when walking in the recent snow and ice never slipped or felt unsteady and my feet kept warm and comfortable. I would recommend them to anyone.

Brasher Hillmasters have been the best boots I have ever purchased. They are all you need for serious walking. Comfortable, Hardwearing and waterproof. They are not the cheapest but you'll save in the long run !

These are my third pair of Brasher boots, well worth the money. Very comfortable and very stylish. Definitely recommend for both long distance walking, over multi terrain and for simply wearing to the shops with jeans
