I've had these boots just over a year and done many miles over the fells without a single blister. They are so comfy its like wearing slippers, i liked them so much i purchased a second pair.

Best buy, 22 December 2010
By Jo (Sheffield)
I've now had these boots for a year and I've used them in about 10 different countries round the world i.e. good in lots of different climates. I used them for riding in Brazil as well as in Argentina. I wore them on the Inca trail on three-four days hiking. Numerous hikes in the Lake District and the Peak District. They've kept me warm in the snow. They're very comfortable and the perfect all-round pair of boots.

Explorer Ridge - Excellent boot!, 26 January 2010
By Rosie (Essex)
'Engineering for your feet' is how Berghaus describe the Men's Explorer Ridge GTX 2/3 seasons Walking Boot, and to be honest, it's a pretty accurate description.

The boot upholds its classic look, a full leather construction, but equally stands up a little softer than heavier full-on mountain boots; which is an ideal feature for a quality walking boot as you'll certainly want to be out in these babies all the time.

There are some nice little touches on the Explorer Ridge GTX, these include: tune-able lacing which allows your feet to expand when hot, but keeping your ankles well supported. The Gore-Tex membrane is there to manage climate control when things get hot under foot, and Berghaus' PU mid-sole takes care of the all-important mid-sole cushioning.
A great boot thats not only amazingly comfortable, but amazingly practical. I loved them so much i bought my mum a pair!
