I've used this as a midlayer in the wind, rain and snow and not once has it failed me! I had become used to wearing two midlayers on the colder days but since buying this, I've been able to stick to just the one. As a result of it being midweight, it never feels too hot and stuffy either. Personally, I find that it fits comfortably, if a little snug around the arms, but this doesn't effect movement and I have even been able to rock climb in it.
The only drawback of the top is that its quite short at the front which is great when used as a midlayer but can be a little annoying when worn by itself.
