Never been drier, 26 August 2011
By Jon (Bedford)
I bought this coat for a holiday and because you can never trust the weather during our summer. I can honestly say that it is completely waterproof. I walked the dog in it last week and it kept me drier than any coat I've had in the past despite the torrential rain and the shaking of a wet dog. Go buy one, it is worth the money.
Outstanding quality jacket from Berghaus, 24 March 2011

At first I thought this is a lot of money to pay for a waterproof jacket, how wrong I was. This is an outstanding jacket worth every penny.I have worn it several time now in all weather conditions and it has never let me down. One thing I would recommend is that in severe cold weather you should attach a Berghaus IA fleece.Other than that I would recommend this cornice jacket to anyone.

As you would expect from Berghaus - Quality!, 23 December 2010

I recently replaced my old, sadly departed Berghaus jacket with a new slightly longer Cornice 2 IA waterproof jacket. The timing couldn't have been any better with the recent artic conditions that we all find ourselves in. Its snug fit around the neck is ideal in the biting winds and it clearly has become my second skin, ensuring my core remains comopletely dry. Adding my waterproof trousers too I'm so happy and more importantly DRY. I cannot find any fault at all and would fully recommend this garment to anyone.

Quality Piece of Kit, 22 December 2010

Just bought new Cornice jacket to replace previous version that lasted 10 years. Good all year round,
One thing to note, the jacket is not insulated.
You have to buy either the Berghau Spectrum IA Fleece or Berghaus Polarplus IV IA Fleece to zip inside. That start making it expensive (unless you buy when it is on offer), hence 4 instead of 5 stars

Absolutley perfect, the -10 wind & snow conditions up North were no match for this jacket. Happy to battle the elements wearing this.
Keeping dry and warm, 26 January 2010

Buying the Cornice jacket was a big investment in walking kit' so it had to be right first time. Well after using this fine kit over a season, this jacket lives up to its reputation. The collar is soft and snug, max's the comfort zone, whilst the length of the jacket protects all regions thoroughly! Outstanding as it should be, from the Berhaus stable.
