Berghaus Arctic Gemini Men's 3-in-1 Jacket, 10 November 2011
By Lee Smiggy (Portchester)
My Wife has bought me this jacket as a Christmas gift so i cannot comment on it just yet, but i spent so long in store seeing what jacket suited me from the vast choice that "go outdoors" has to offer, and as we are on a budget i took my time researching the options. The staff were very helpful and i would recommend both the jacket and the store. i will be shopping at "go outdoors" again..... very soon.

Great mid-range Jacket, 18 May 2011

I've always liked Berghaus kit. Mainly because when I was a kid in the venture scouts I couldn't afford it and made do with cheap stuff which never really worked very well and I was envious of those who had Berghaus kit which seemed to be the pinnacle of outdoors gear. Nowadays, I can afford Berghaus and have plenty of it but for good reason: It works. This is not the jacket you'd buy for an arctic expedition of climbing Everest, but for general use in th UK, especially in winter, and perhaps in the Alps on a ski holiday and so on, you be hard pressed to beat this jacket for value, versatility and performance. I got mine in a sale and there's never a time when I put it on that I wish I bought something else. It's warm (too warm if you aren't careful!), it's waterproof, windproof and long enough to ensure your bum stays warm and dry too. Build quality is also good. Frankly, I can't fault it on anything.

Excellent jacket. Although I dont exactly know where the map pocket is as I have not had it very long. Its spring now and I can wear it just as a fleece or waterproof jacket. But in winter, I will put them both together to keep me warm. Fully adjustable at cuffs, belt and hood an added feature. Good price also!!
warm, dry, adaptable, practical - what else?, 23 November 2010

A great, practical solution to all weather needs. superb quality (inc goretex) and the biggest pockets I've ever had including as mentioned elsewhere a good sized and convenient map pocket. The fleece, which is very cosy in it's own right, zips in and out very easily and my previous experience with other manufacturer's similar products, of it never sitting comfortably once zipped in, has not been repeated. I'm really pleased with it.

This jacket is a great multiuse option,it will keep you dry all day and has plenty of pockets including the essential map pocket that does not require you to open the jacket, the hood is fully adjustable and the fleece is warm with the advantage of being able to zip it into the jacket keeping you warm in all weathers and when the weather eventually gets better you have a light packable walking jacket. The quality is second to none and I would recommend this to anyone

Warm and Dry, 25 January 2010

This jacket is extremely practical with deep pockets that holds many things and essential map pocket. It is really warm and the fleece on its own is warm and practical, a must for the weather we have been experiencing. Would prefer a choice of other brighter colours in order to be spotted when climbing mountains but a compromise is acceptable to stay warm and dry. Would recommend this product, 3 in 1 jackets are perfect for all weather.
