The new Petzl Tikkina 2 Head Torch takes advantage of all the technical knowledge and experience Petzl has acquired since introducing the LED headlamp (the Tikka) in 2000.
It uses the latest in LED technology for significantly improved lighting performance, and is designed to meet everyday lighting needs.
It's water-resistant, and has two lighting modes (maximum and economic) to give you a choice of light quantity.
The Petzl Tikkina 2 is also equipped with new, improved performance LEDs and a push-button switch.
The compartment now has an easy-to-use system that lets you very easily change the batteries or equip the headlamp with the ADAPT mounting system.

A godsend, 31 August 2011

Had a complete nightmare with lighting on our latest trip when both our lamps died. Luckily I'd bought one of these and it saved the day (well the night). As our only source of light it had to illuminate a very big tent and also guide us to the washroom in the dark. It performed both tasks very well. I will be buying another.

Great lightweight headtorch ideal for camping use. Probably not the best for walking at night, I would use something a bit more powerful, but for our purpose of finding stuff in a tent at night or taking the kids to the loo etc it is ideal-light, easy to use with a funky design.
Didn't Work, 05 February 2011

To make this work I had to twist and fiddle with the batteries until they made contact. Any slight movement would then break contact and torch wouldn't work.
