The Paramo Men's Velez Adventure Smock has all the multi-activity features of their Velez Smock, but comes with a specific fixed, roll-away hood, as requested by competition and race entrants where this feature is a requirement to guarantee protection in all weather conditions.

The Velez Adventure Smock benefits from a fabric constructed with Nikwax Analogy Waterproof, which draws moisture and dampness away from the skin. This Full Directional waterproof performance is combined with excellent ventilation, via Páramo’s unique front twin zip design. The smock can be reproofed with ease, allowing the smock to be completely waterproof for every use. 

The design of a smock means that it can be pulled over head, whilst the deep zip allows venting. However the smock design also allows the Velez Adventure to be worn not only as an outer layer, but in severe weather, as a mid or baselayer. 

The Velez Adventure Smock is an ideal layer for Alpine and mountain use, and will soon become an essential part of your outdoor gear.

i have been using a paramo velez smock over many many years and have been in some of the most remote parts of the uk in some of our worst weather condtions and i have never been let down by my velez smock or anything paramo. When its raining there are only two types of people outside those wearing paramo and those that are wet, i just wish paramo made boots as well, when its blowing a gale and you still have a long way to go to get to the tent you will be the one still smiling cuz you got a paramo

Had mine for 18mths now. Think of it as a waterproof and softshell in one. Very waterproof, warm and well thought out design. Takes a bit more care than gore-tex with regular re-proofing but worth the effort.
