Bought this jacket earlier in the year & have walked in all weather in it. It has kept me dry in the worst rain, warm in howling gales and is light enough to wear on cool summer days. The hood adjusts so it can be pulled back rather than sitting right over your eyes - which is a problem I have with a lot of other hooded jackets & the peak is also adjustable. It's pricey but well worth the money in my opinion.

This is a good mountain jacket when on the hills, it is very windproof and keeps you feeling warm and protected on the top of a mountain.
Although it it still a little heavy, it is lighter than the standard Velez.
Breathes really well and venting options work well, I dont think I have actually felt properly sweaty in it.
Can get wet shoulders when carrying a pack in heavy rain.
Good allround coat for use on the hills.
