The Paramo Mens Cascada Jacket allows freedom of movement by incorporating full shoulder and elbow articulation, ventilating hook and loop cuffs, full wired roll-away hood with full volume adjustment and scoop back for warmth.
Reinforced double layered shoulders and sleeves means that even if you have a heavy load, carrying is that little bit easier. Especially as after feedback Paramo cut the lining weight by 25%- all still retaining the important insulation needed when the weather gets close.
Protection from all the elements is created from features such as the dry pockets, drawcord hem pulls, and a 2 drip skirt and scooped tail.
If you want a jacket lightweight enough to stow away, but with enough features to make you want to keep it on- then try the Cascada. Tried, tested and loved, you won't look back.

Paramo Cascada Jacket, 29 June 2016
By Charlie (York)
Bought this jacket 3 years ago and with a lifetime guarantee was very satisfied until the main zip suddenly broke. Missing teeth from the plastic zip. Not impressed for a jacket currently listed at nearly 200 quid! Even less impressed when Paramo quoted me 47.50 to repair. So much for a liifetime guarantee. Won't be buying Paramo products again.
Paramo Cascada Jacket, 22 December 2015
By Dusty Miller (Angus, Scotland)
Approaching 83, with 70+ years' outdoor experience and many waterproofs, my Paramo Cascada is unquestionably the best ever. For twelve years has been worn daily in all weathers for dog walking, and extensively on Scottish hills. Reproofed annually, it has never failed to keep me completely dry. Plenty of freedom for layering underneath for winter. Cannot recommend too highly.
2ND CASCADA 12 YEARS ON, 03 November 2015
By GJ (West Wales)
I didn't purchase my Cascada from GoOutdoors in 2003, but am considering replacing it as I use it autumn/winter/spring as my go-to jacket on the hills, on the coast, shopping or going to my London office. It has been attacked by everything British weather can manage in some pretty wild spots in Snowdonia and the Lakes, and keeps me far more comfortable than top class goretex - which may be why some of the Mountain rescue people swear by their higher spec'd paramo kit. I bought my first in 1992, and was only replaced when they introduced the rollaway hood which makes it more town-friendly. I regularly wash and reproof, but after all this use it is beginning to look a bit scruffy, though still absolutely waterproof (in effect - technically speaking it may not be because of the way the system works) compared with goretex (still remember getting really chilled coming down from the Carneddau on a cool humid day in my top spec'd goretex). My wife also is on her second Cascada. I genuinely cannot understand the less good reviews, but obviously it works better for some than for others I guess.
Paramo cascada trousers and jacket, 17 January 2014

Excellent service from the staff - nothing was too much trouble.
Very happy with the gear purchased and they price matched without any fuss.
Cannot recommend them more highly having done my homework in other stores in Manchester and online.
Good buy... March 2013, 23 March 2013

Bought as a replacement. Certainly feels different to the usual rough jackets. Looses 1 star, while wind proof needs multi- layering underneath for best warmth. (Recently tried out at Murrayfield) and local walking at 0-1*C (less with wind chill)
