The hanging lantern uses 20 LED bulbs to illuminate any area, with 230v of power.
It comes with two seperate chargers, one to plug into the mains, and one that will plug into your car's cigar lighter socket, to charge it up to full capacity in a very short time.
8 hours of running time means long evenings around the campsite, and an included car plug charger means you can charge up the lantern while you're out enjoying life all day.

We have very small children and one of them demands a light on during the night. We don't do hook ups on camping trips so lighting has always been a problem. We bought this before our last camping trip and it was great. I put the light on when it got dark and left it on all night. In the morning I switched it off. I then forgot to take it in the car to charge the next day, but to my surprise, the light lasted another night. I charged it in the car the next day for about 2 half hour journeys which was enough to last another night! I continued doing this most days. We were away for a whole week and it didn't let me down.

when i first purchased one of these it lasted about ten minutes before it would not charge :( but a quick call to the store near bedford and hay presto returned and new one aquiered no probs very helpful and so far ive had it now about 8 months use it every weekend and it has never let me down , in car charger is handy as some places ive been have no elec so big thubs up for that ,all round view good lamp if you get a good one at the start but if not staff very helpfull in swappoing .

Bought this lantern to save buying and carrying spare batteries, only used it 1 weekend so far and worked fine, 2 nights of lighting til 1-2am and still good, can be charged by supplied mains or car charger which is also a good point,a handy hook for hanging it up in our outwell tent and a little compass for if you are anal about the direction in which you pitch your tent
