Quite quick and easy to put up and makes a brilliant addition to the tent. Gives you space to sit out even if the weather isn't great. You can get 4 adults seated in this area and provides a great space for storing chairs and muddy boot. The extension also allows you to use the front door of the tent in the rain without water getting into the inner tent. Not sure I would put it up if the weather was good, but great in the wet. Not as big as it looks though!

I have now returned my Montana 6 Front extension (2010 version) as I managed to locate a 2011 version elsewhere I must say Customer service in store was very good. For those looking for a 2011 version in store the easiest way to is to check the weight as the 2010 version is 9.3 kg and the 2011 version is 11.2 Kg. Hope this info helps anyone looking for the 2011 version as there is nothing on the packaging to say which year it is. My experience is that although in store service is very good they did not know what versions they stocked. The Tent and Awning both seem to be the 2011 version in the two stores I visited.

Montana 6 extension 5 Stars a word of warning though I ordered this from Go Outdoors Customer services after checking it was the 2011 version, however after receiving it I found it to be the 2010 model. I rung my local store (50 miles away) to check that they had the 2011 version and was told all there shop stock was 2011. I then drove to swap it over only to find all 8 of their stock was also 2010 models. They are now going to try and track me down the correct one.
