Total rubbish, 18 August 2016

Zips leaked immediately everything soaked outside tent, to make matters worse water starting dripping into he bedroom area, fairly straight firward to put up but certainly isnt waterproof. Annoyed
Asides from the waterproofing issue (easily resolved), this is a great tent, 23 July 2016

OK, so first things first - if you read other reviews you will see that there is an issue with the door seams letting in water in downpours. However, this can be easily fixed by putting the tent up in the dry and applying seam sealer around the door seams (about £7) - it doesn't take long to do, and once dried you can be confident that it will stand up to some torrential soakings (I've tested it, and no problems). If you are prepared to do that little extra manual work you can really snag a bargain of a tent. I actually use this as a second tent for when I'm camping solo as I like a bit of space when I'm pitched for a few days, and also wanted a living area large enough to stash my bike in at night. Also, as this tent isn't full standing height, it's quite easy to put up by yourself in 15 minutes. Once initially pitched, you can even choose to leave the sleeping compartment attached for faster pitching. If it wasn't for having to do the extra waterproofing, I'd have given it 4 or 5 stars - having said that, I never assume a tent I buy is fully waterproof from the start, and almost always apply extra protection (a great rule for many situations)... I'm very happy with it overall.

I've used this tent 4 times. First time woke up to a swimming pool in the front, although the sleeping area stayed dry. I took it home and sealed it. 2nd time was ok, no leaks, but front groundsheet connection ripped. 3rd time, started to leak again, 4th and last time, one of the poles snapped.... My verdict..... Absolute rubbish, I should have spent £25 on a kids Wendy House, would have been just as good, if not better.... Very disappointing, I suppose it's true, you get what you pay for...
A soggy choice...., 09 November 2015

Really disappointed with this tent, went with Outwell as they are usually superb but we ended up with lots of soggy belongings when camping in this due to the same leaky door others have also sadly experienced. If you buy, please pop it up in your garden and spray with a hose as other than the leak it would have been a great tent. Returned to store for a refund :-(

Bought as a replacement for a dome tent that was flattened on a trip to the classic MGP last year. Having read most of the comments I water proofed the whole tent and paid particular attention to the zipped areas. I had several heavy showers over the week and one night of strong winds 30mph +.
The tent held up well with no leakage from either of the 2 zipped areas found very easy to put up and was struck and packed away in 20 mins. Cant see the problem with toggles that some have mentioned only improvement is the upstand across the front ground sheet needs to have a couple of Velcro tabs to keep it from folding in other wise Very large and plenty of room.
