A popular family tent that's easy to set up and has excellent living space, the Outwell Bear Lake 6 is made using their Outtex Airtech Fabric - designed to make your tent more comfortable to live in especially on those hotter days.
It's canvas-like but treated with water-repellency, so water droplets drain off the top if the tent, or in heavier rain the fabric will actually seal itself up but keep it's high breathability, meaning you stay comfortable and not stifling inside.
This is helped even more by the great ventilation options, with zip-out groundsheets, and a detachable canopy for shade outside the tent.
The Bear Lake aslo boasts many other features that similarly sized tents can only dream of. It is equipped with heavy duty zips and adjustable pegging points, meaning that it can be secured completely without you having to exert yourself.
Pitched with color coordinated poles, the Alloy frame is so simple to erect and there are reinforcement patches on all stress points.
With luminous guy ropes, the tent is visible in low lighting situations so you won't trip up and there is even an Outwell doormat included with every one.
And to add more luxury and space to your camping experience, why not try the Bear Lake 6 carpet, or the Bear Lake 6 extension?
If you're heading out with the family, the Bear Lake 6 is the most practical and kitted out tunnel tent you can find. Reasuring quality for a relaxing break.
Outtex Airtech: designed to make a tent more comfortable to live in, especially on those hotter days. The woven fabric has a water repellent coating on the outside, to allow droplets to form and run off the tent. As the rain gets heavier the fabric closes up and seals itself to become waterproof. Airtech fabric has strong resistance to UV decay, and when carefully looked after will last for many years.

We’d never been camping before and the salesman showed us the size of tent we asked for (quite big). Then he showed us the BL6. There was just no comparison as the BL 6 was superior in every respect. The first time out saw us erecting the tent in worsening rain but, in 40 minutes - first time remember - we were inside, dry and WARM. The short break was great and the tent was absolutely faultless. We’ll add the front extension when finances permit and we plan to be year round campers, exploring the UK as we learn the camping craft. Buy the BL6 and you will have no regrets.

We started off with a secondhand cotton tent which saw us through the storms of Boscastle when everyone else on our site with nylon tents were washed away, so there was no question that our new tent (required for increase in family size) would be cotton too. The Outwell Bear Lake 6 is all it is cracked up to be. It is suprisingly easy to erect. Keeps you dry in wet weather, warm at night and cooler in during the heat of the day. Lots of living space, Bedrooms feel roomy and have plent of height. The porch is great for your early morning tea and a last drink of the evening. We have had our bear lake for 5 years and it still gets lots of admiring looks and comments, we've not seen another tent to match it on any campsite.
