Tower Event Walking Boot...2 years daily wear for landscaping!, 16 June 2014
By Roger the Dodger (Berkshire)
This will be my third pair of these fantastic boots. I work as a landscaper, so wear these boots every weekday for my job. The first two pairs have both lasted in excess of two years each...in fact the second pair is still going strong...I've just ordrered a third pair for when they finally give up! They've had everything thrown at them...brambles, rocks, mud, water, snow, ice, ...and I've never had a wet foot yet...in fact the eVent system works so well your feet don't even sweat. The only things I've ever had to replace are a couple of broken laces. Great boots at a great price! Very comfortable, thoroughly recommend.
3 years, over 1000 miles of mountains and trails RIP, 09 May 2014
By Kobudo4 (Newcastle)
Had to finally lay these guys to rest after 3 years of solid service. Used and abused these boots in England, Scotland and Wales in all weathers and on rough terrain. Mountains, old rail tracks, swampy crossings and beaches. Coped admirably, my only regret was that I didn't look after these better and get another 1000 miles in. R.I.P. North Ridge boots.
North Ridge Men's Tower eVent® Waterproof Walking Boots Review, 15 April 2014
By Hoppers (Plymouth)
Bought these boots for 10 tors this year and they have held up so far with the training. They are very comfortable and have not had a blister in them yet. They are also very good for the price compared to other boots on the market. I would defiantly recommend for DofE and Ten tors etc.
North Ridge Tower Boots, 22 March 2014
By Fred Lard (Redditch)
I was sceptical about these boots as North Ridge has no web presence and no company details on or in their packaging so I guess they are Go Outdoors own brand. However, they were the only boots in the shop that were wide enough for my monkey feet so I took a deep breath and parted with my money. So far they have been brilliant, a bit stiffer than the Lowa Renegades that preceeded them but every bit as comfortable. If they prove as durable as they are comfortable then I shall be a very pleased customer. The only thing I can complain about so far is that the logo badge sewn into the tongue of one boot is upside down, but I reckon I can live with that.
