What a product. Please don't listen to other fools. I walk throughout Snowdon everyday, over 125m a week. These boots from spring till late autum are fantastic for the money. Unless you are serious in your hiking through winter (needing crampons) why bother with anything else.
Just bought a new pair after 2 years solid use. Can't believe how hard wearing they have been. Look after your shoes and they'll last. Then you won't have to whinge here.

I purchased these boots last January. They were the most comfortable and had the added hype "A robust, mid-weight 3 season boot " which swung the deal. I am maybe naïve but thought this meant long lasting about 3 years, certainly above average quality. After 14 months these boots now leak. Talking to Go outdoors staff it seems a season is a season is just that. ie Winter, spring, summer autumn.. So a 3 season boot is about 9 months life, I guess I should be grateful I got 14 months, maybe I was lucky then. Curiously I am pretty irked at the quality of the boot and what I consider poor or false advertising. In summary although pretty comfortable I'd expected much better from both the boot and Go Outdoors.
GO Outdoors says: A 3 season boot is recommended to be worn for outdoor walking between Spring-Autumn. The lack of insulation in the Tower eVent makes it unsuitable for Winter. How long they last is down to aftercare and how regularly they are used.

I bought these boots about 2 years ago and they are still going strong. I've used them for many things including DofE, ten tors and a mountaineering weekend in snowdonia. I've covered at least 200 miles in them. And plan to cover many more. My feet have only been wet twice and that was after a soaking weekend on Dartmoor knee deep in bogs and rivers, but that's understandable. They are 200% worth the money, would buy them again without a doubt.

I've had these boots for nearly 2 years now, ok I'm no mountaineer but I walk at least 2 mlies a day with my dogs in the autumn&winter wearing these and they're great. They're water proof up to the lower ankle which means I've never had wet feet despite walking through small streams, puddles and snow. The rubber strip across the toes is starting to peel away a little but only at the very edge and hadn't caused a problem. Very happy with this purchase@

By far the best boots I've ever had. Very comfortable & 100% waterproof. I can manage to completely wear a pair out in about 5 months which doesn't sound too good but being a farmer & milkman i do 10-15 miles/day on the milk round, in the dairy & on the farm & regularly have them on my feet between 16 & 20 hours/day. Usually by the time they start leaking i''ve more or less worn the sole right through.
Have yet to get a bad pair & would recommend them every time
