Features
TurboFlame Turbo 2 Lighter:
More like a blowtorch than a lighter, the Turbo 2 has two twin jets of high-velocity flame, that will light instantly and stay lit in the worst windy conditions, and burn at a temperature of 1300ºC.
Its' hardwearing metal case will stand up to knocks and wear when you're out camping in the wild, there's a safety cap to stop it igniting in your pocket or bag, and it's got a lanyard facility if you need to have it handy at all times.
It runs off standard lighter gas, so it's easy to keep it filled and ready.
It uses a shielded platinum catalyzer coil element, which glows white hot to keep the flame alight, and it will happily keep burning upside down!
All the flame you'll need.

Sturdy and Powerful, 29 December 2010

A durable and powerful addition to my survival tools with a useful gauge to tell you how much juice it has left in it.
The only drawback I have encountered so far is that the top does not have a lock. This could lead to problems in bad weather and getting damaged in your pocket. However, this is remedied by looping insulation tape from top to bottom whilst in transit.
