I have used this several times, but was always slightly skeptical about the claims that it not only maintains but revives breathability. However when I used this on both goretex trousers and jacket I found that they were both improved in both waterproofness and breathability. The water just beaded up and ran off as when they were new.
I would advise not putting more than the recommended 2 items per wash in with this as the results weren't as good when I tried to be a little more economical.

Waterproofs effectively but the real advantage is in the "wash in". This is far easier than spraying each side of your garment and makes sure that seams are fully covered (which can be difficult when a garmet is lying flat). I try and do more than one garment at once to make it more economical on the washing machine.
