British males will find that putting on a pair of walking boots
and hitting paths around the country helps them to relieve stress, in the opinion of one expert.
Peter Baker, chief executive at the Men's Health Forum, explained guys can be known to bottle up their emotions and suffer as a result.
However, simply undertaking some exercise – such as a stroll through the British countryside or jogging on city streets – can have a profound effect.
"Men who are more active, even if just in cultural or community activities, have better health, especially mental health," Mr Baker stated, adding: "Exercise is good for your mental health as well as for your heart."
His words may tempt some people who currently suffer from stress to invest in a pair of walking boots
and to take the expert's advice.
A study published by the Journal of Epidemiology and Community Health recently concluded that there is a link between exercise and good health and high satisfaction.
