Despite the recent unseasonally hot weather, now is the time to buy ski passes, according to the Glencoe Ski Resort.
Management at the White Corries centre have emailed supporters advising that by buying a season pass now, they can help fund enhancements to the facilities on the slopes of Beinn a' Bhuird.
Among the planned investments are a second hand piste machine, snowmaking equipment and a new rope tow to run parallel to the Poma, all of which can be installed before the snows arrive if enough people buy their passes now.
While some may have been more interested in shorts or summer dresses in recent days than thinking about buying ski boots, the weather may soon revert back to form and snow could be hitting Scotland before long.
One facility where work has been progressing ahead of the new season is at the Lake District Ski Club on Raise.
Progress has been taking place on building a toilet hut on the mountainside over the weekend, with new pictures appearing on the club's Facebook page.
