owners might want to head along to a talk from Australian mountaineer Tim Macartney-Snape, who is holding a series of lectures across England.
According to Grough, Mr Macartney-Snape will be at an event at the Royal Geographic Society in London on November 17th, before heading to Lake District to speak at the Kendal Mountain Festival
He will then return to the capital to talk about his experiences at the Alpine Club.
Mr Macartney-Snape is the only climber to ever cover the complete height of Mount Everest, travelling from the Bay of Bengal to the mountain's summit in 1999, unaided and without the use of an oxygen cylinder.
He is also the first Australian ever to climb the famous peak, with him and Greg Mortimer taking a new route up the north face 15 years prior to his solo feat.
Joining him at the Kendal festival
will be a wide range of guest speakers, including Ed Barbour and Dave MacLeod.
