People who love to go camping
are happier than those who do not, a survey has indicated.
and Caravanning Club has pointed to a collection of 60 studies collated by Liverpool John Moores University called Real Richness - The List, which shows the people who love spending time in tents
or caravans have a better life overall.
Among the findings were that 91 per cent of children enjoy being outdoors, while one in three people think a trip to the country is good for weight loss.
Commenting on the news, keen camper and TV personality Ben Fogle said: "For me it definitely chills me out and I find it's a fantastic way to switch off from my manic schedule. I can totally see how camping
is great for families too."
