Walking enthusiasts of all ages and abilities may wish to take advantage of the fair spring weather and take a long stroll in Wensleydale.
The Northern Echo reported that the Darlington CHA & HF Rambling Club is set to hold a 10.5-mile walk on Sunday March 28th in Middleham.
According to the group, the weekend trek has been graded M for moderate.
The club - which claims its members range in age from 17 to 70 - often hosts its longest walks with the greatest degree of difficulty on Sundays, while Saturday strolls are generally medium-grade and cover a distance of between six and ten miles.
During the summer months, additional evening and local walks are added to the group's schedule to take advantage of longer daylight hours.
Future walks on the club's agenda this spring include a seven-mile stroll on Saturday April 3rd and a ten-mile moderate hike on Sunday April 11th.
