Ski Scotland is to offer a new online facility for the coming winter season to make it easier for wintersports enthusiasts to access information about conditions on the slopes.
The organisation has been upgrading its website and will be able to offer information via mobile phones and tablets, so people can access it almost any time and anywhere.
Details of the new site will be unveiled at the Scottish Ski & Snowboard Show at the SECC in Glasgow this coming weekend (October 15th and 16th).
Those thinking of getting into skiing may wish to see the Ski Scotland display on Stand 11 before heading to the Go Outdoors stores in Clydebank or Cumbernauld to buy items such as ski goggles.
Scotland has five ski resorts, with three of them - Cairn Gorm Mountain, Glen Shee and Lecht - in the Cairngorms National Park.
Visitors to the west Highlands can hit the slopes at Glencoe or the Nevis Range near Fort William.
