Glencoe ski resort is finally set to open, it has announced.
Those donning ski goggles
should be able to head for the slopes at the West Highland venue on December 28th, as organisers plan to open it at 10:00 GMT.
However, it said that there is not yet enough snow cover for beginners, while the wall t-bar run is not operating due to an incomplete track.
Scotland's other four resorts - Nevis Range, Cairngorm, the Lecht and Glenshee are all already operating.
Cairngorm was the first to open and currently reports not only having several of its pistes operating, but also describes off-piste conditions as "great".
Those planning to head to the highlands for some wintersport fun might wish to upgrade some of their skiing equipment
According to the Met Office, the west highlands will see no snow today, but are set to have a white Christmas and more snow over the bank holiday weekend.
