Glencoe Ski Resort has acquired a second snow groomer to help improve conditions for those turning up with their ski clothes
hoping for a great day on the slopes.
It recently issued an appeal for financial help to bolster its bid for European funding and revealed in an email to supporters that it has now been able to acquire the device.
The bulletin said: "This will allow us to move more snow around and improve the amount of grooming on the mountain which should improve the ski experience we can offer, particularly for beginners and intermediates."
Glencoe has undergone a series of changes in the last couple of years since being taken over and this has even included the creation of new hobbit-style mini bunkhouses so people can stay overnight at the site and hit the slopes first thing in the morning.
The resort also offers mountain biking in the warmer months when the snows have melted.
