Those keen to put on some ski boots
and enjoy a day on the slopes should head up to the Glencoe resort, it has been suggested.
Staff at the resort have revealed in the latest email to winter sports fans yesterday (February 14th) that there was an "excellent base" of snow with many recent falls, while there was more due last night.
"With the promised improvement in visibility for tomorrow the skiing could be truly spectacular," the resort stated.
And those yet to don ski goggles
for the first time may find this a prime occasion to turn up, it was suggested, with staff noting: "Conditions for beginners are the best they have been this year."
The good news from Glencoe contrasts with Lochaber's other resort - the Nevis Range near Fort William - where the resort has been closed due to high winds.
However, it stated the conditions would be very good for skiing but for this, so if the wind drops in the next couple of days there may be plenty of fun to be had on the slopes.
