Snow lovers may be heading for the hills with their ski equipment
this coming weekend, as it has been revealed Scotland’s Nevis Range will open on both Saturday and Sunday (December 10th and 11th).
Although the plans go ahead are largely dependent on the weather over the course of the next two days, it is hoped the slopes will be open between 09.30 GMT and 15:30 GMT on both days.
The Alpha and the Quad chair lifts and hopefully the Goose T-bar are expected to be up and running, but young skiers will have to wait until December 17th before they can enrol in the Snowsports School.
Food and drink will be on offer at the Snowgoose Bar and those wishing to hire ski equipment
can do so this weekend.
Elsewhere, Scotland’s Glencoe range had been hoping to open to the public at 10:00 GMT tomorrow (December 9th), but organisers may be forced to abandon original plans due to the high winds currently hitting the region.
