The British Mountain Bike Series is to hold its Demo event this coming Saturday (March 6th).

Held at Glentress in the Scottish Borders region, the event will see a number of top mountain bikes in action from various brands.

These will include Trek, Specialized, Yeti, Giant, Santa Cruz, Gary Fisher, Merida, Accelerate, Genesis and Osprey Backpacks.

Such a line-up will give cycling fans a chance to see the best in action, with the display taking place in the main car park by the Hub, as the Buzzards Nest area of the circuit is snowbound.

Those aged over 18 and with ID to prove it can go along and ride the bikes themselves to assess which is best.

Glentress Forest describes itself as "probably the best biking centre in Britain" with various trails for people of all abilities, a cafe and showering facilities.

It also states that nearby Innerleithen offers outstanding facilities for experienced riders.
