Those who like to jump on their mountain bikes
and enjoy hurtling down a mountainside will get their final chance of the year at the Glencoe Mountain resort later this month.
In an email to those on its website mailing list, the resort revealed October 31st will be a special date in the diary, as it hosts a charity car boot sale.
It also noted: "The chairlift will be running all day for sight-seeing, walking and biking."
For those taking to the saddle, this will be the last day of the 2010 season as the focus switches to winter sports.
Those planning on spending time at Glencoe with their ski goggles
this winter may be interested in the new Snowpark being readied at the site for the new winter season.
Meteorology firm Positive Weather Solutions has predicted the coming winter will be similarly cold and snowy to the last one, which could mean another winter of very good ski conditions.
