The Lake District is gearing up for the Queen's Jubilee with a huge array of exciting activities and walks.
Those lucky enough to go walking
on the long June bank holiday will be able to soak up some free-form jazz - as well as the sun's glorious rays.
Walks, music, magic, craft workshops and animal demonstrations will all add to the celebratory atmosphere in the national park at the start of the month.
Belinda Turnbull, activity coordinator at the Lake District National Park Authority, said: "With so many people having a break from school and work together we've tried to cater for the whole spectrum of what people might want to do."
She added that the Jubilee celebrations held in the Lakes will ensure that people are both relaxed and entertained.
Highlights of the mini festival
include a Women's Only Walk in Ullswater on Saturday June 2nd and the Willow Creations Family Workshop in Brockhole on Wednesday June 6th.
Incidentally, Brockhole's visitor centre was commended in a recent national park inspection.
