A woman is planning to don her walking boots
ahead of an unusual hula-hooping feat - on top of Kilimanjaro.
Julianne McGregor, who lives in north London, is planning to raise money for breast cancer research and will climb the UK three peaks as part of her training.
This will see her put on some walking gear
and ascend Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon to get in shape for the challenge of taking on Africa's highest mountain.
Ms McGregor, whose friend Megan Houchins has endured years of treatment as she battles the disease, said that her plan is to "hula-hoop at the very top" of the glacier-covered Tanzanian peak.
She will climb via the Lemosho route, the same one used by the celebrities who climbed for Comic Relief last year.
Those keen on raising money for charity may find the three peaks more to their liking than Kilimanjaro, which can defeat even experienced climbers due to the effects of altitude.
It is 19,340 ft high, whereas Ben Nevis is 4,406 ft above sea level.
