Those who like to go walking
in the Peak District National Park may wish to ensure their route includes the grounds of Chatsworth House in the next few days.
On the weekend of July 3rd and 4th the famous stately home will play host to a food and drink fair including no less than 50 stalls, with local produce from all over Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.
Those who have put on their walking shoes
and taken a hike around the countryside of the White Peak may find lots to enjoy there, with Chatsworth stating that products on sale will include fudge, jams, chocolate, cheese and relishes.
For people looking to undertake trips on rougher and higher terrain, backpacking food
may be the order of the day and there is a selection of this in Go Outdoors stores, including one not far from Chatsworth at Hathersage.
Chatsworth itself hosts a number of events, with those coming up over the next few months including the Antiques Roadshow TV programme, the Big Band concert in August and the Chatsworth Country Fair in September.
