Organisers of the Glastonbury Festival
have made more tickets available to those wishing to come by car or camper van.
Drivers who will find this an easier way of transporting their tents
and camping equipment
to the Somerset venue can get a parking space for £20, plus a £1.50 booking fee.
This will allow people to park at the site from 21:00 BST on June 21st, through to June 27th, although the festival
gates themselves do not open until the morning of June 22nd.
And the festival
is also making more tickets available for those bringing caravans, who can get a pitch for £75 each.
However, special food vouchers will be given to those who keep it green and arrive by bike or public transport, so cycling gear may be useful.
Those planning to camp at the event may wish to invest in other items to make their stay cosier, such as new sleeping bags
Glastonbury 2011 will feature a range of top musical acts, including U2, Coldplay, Beyonce and Morrisey.
