For nine days later this month, people visiting Kent will have the perfect opportunity to get their walking boots
on and explore the very best of the county.
That is because the Herne Bay Festival
is due to return for its 19th year and will get underway on August 20th.
With so much on the schedule, it may be difficult to focus on any one event, but outdoor enthusiasts are sure to find their eyes drawn to the walking tours.
Coastal explorations are one of the undoubted highlights of the festival
and the good news is that they also provide a chance to learn about the local environment, as they will be led by the Kent Wildlife Trust and Foreshore team.
There will also be a series of beach walks that are sure to be held in beautiful surroundings.
Organisers of the Herne Bay Festival
recently noted that there are set to be in excess of 200 activities, demonstrations, workshops and shows during the event.
