Those who fancy hopping across the sea with their tents
and other camping equipment
to enjoy a good Irish festival
may be tempted by Electric Picnic now Bob Geldof has been added to the line-up.
The former Boomtown Rats singer, famous for launching Band Aid and Live Aid in the 1980s, has been added to the bill along with other new additions such as I Am Kloot and Foster the People.
And there are plenty of big names already set to appear at the Stradbally Hall event in County Laois over the first weekend in September, such as Pulp, James Blake, The Charlatans, Beirut, Arcade Fire, Sinead O'Connor and the Chemical Brothers.
The event also features art, theatre, comedy and family-orientated entertainment, all with a strong emphasis on being eco-friendly.
Fans planning to camp can access the 600-acre site from 09:00 BST on Friday September 2nd and stay up until 13:00 BST on Monday September 5th.
