The Glencoe ski resort has said fresh snow has improved conditions for winter sports.
In an email, it revealed those keen to don their ski boots
and hit the slopes at the west Highland resort will now have much more to enjoy than in recent weeks, where the location has suffered a comparative lack of snow despite the cold snap across Britain.
"What a difference a day makes. Four inches of fresh snow on the plateau area and a bit more on the top of the mountain has dramatically improved conditions," the resort stated.
It said excellent skiing is now available at Main Basin, Happy Valley and Rannoch Glades, while the Wall, Spring run and Etive Glades are "filling in really well".
The Nevis resort has also reported good snow conditions, with a "light dusting" overnight and the prospect of more light showers today, with its upper runs having plenty of fresh falls offering "lovely sliding".
