Festival set for worsening weather

This week may have brought a bit of respite from recent bad weather as the sun shines - but those heading to the Isle of Wight Festival with their tents are set to face darkening clouds again.

According to the Met Office, the weather will return to a state of sunshine and showers from Thursday (June 20th), the date on which the campsite at Seaclose Park in Newport opens.

Fans attending and picking up some last minute items might wish to get some waterproofs to stay dry over the weekend.

All tickets have now been sold for the event, which is one of the biggest on the calendar and may be more of a priority for some to attend, due to there being no Glastonbury this year.

This year's line up includes the likes of Biffy Clyro, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Elbow, Jessie J, Big Country, Noah and the Whale and Pearl Jam.ADNFCR-2803-ID-801387702-ADNFCR
