Ash will be the headliners at this month's Loopallu Festival
, which those heading there with tents
and sleeping bags
may be pleased about.
Taking place in the small town of Ullapool in the north-west Highlands on the weekend of September 16th-17th, the event has been going for ten years and organisers said they were delighted that a major band who had been involved at the inaugural event in 2001 were back.
Ash will be playing in the big top and could pick songs from among the 18 top 40 hits they have enjoyed, including tunes such as Girl from Mars, Burn Baby Burn, Oh Yeah and Goldfinger.
Organisers said: "This is a very special booking for us all here as Ash were the first major act Beyond promoted in the Highlands ten years ago."
All tickets have now been sold for the event, although Ash fans in the Highlands can still see them in action as their trip to the far north will also include a concert in Inverness.
The Feeling, Buzzcocks, Kassidy and The Bluebells are also in the line-up, alongside local Celtic acts such as Skerryvore.
