The final night of the Isle of Wight Festival will see former Beatle Paul McCartney taking to the stage.
Organisers have revealed that the event - which runs from June 11th to 13th, will conclude with the singer taking to the stage.
The musician himself commented: "I always remember hearing such great things about this festival and it has such a sense of history with the likes of Jimi Hendrix playing there the first time round."
It will be the first time Paul McCartney has played at the Isle of Wight festival and the appearance is part of his 2010 Up and Coming tour, which includes a number of dates across the British Isles.
Those keen to attend the event and camp there may wish to purchase some camping furniture
to make their stay more comfortable.
A number of big names have been lined up for the Isle of Wight, including Jay-Z, Blondie, Pink and Spandau Ballet.
