An art exhibition of Yorkshire Dales landscapes has gone on display at the national park authority's Bainbridge offices in Yoredale.
Titled 'Rural Life in the Dales - Drypoint and Monoprint', it displays works by Skipton-based Anna Tosney.
She said: "My aim has always been to recreate the moody skies, amazing landscapes and loveable characters of Yorkshire."
Those who like to
go walking but may not be so familiar with the national park may be inspired to explore more if they are in the area and see the pictures.
Director of corporate services for the national park authority Richard Burnett said the works of local artists are "very popular" with visitors to the office.
People who are familiar with walking in the Yorkshire Dales have been invited to be part of the Yorkshire Dales Access Forum, which aims to improve outdoor recreational opportunities in the national park.
There are eight vacancies on the body, which meets three or four times a year, with the deadline for applications to join being December 2nd.
