The Cairngorm Mountain ski resort has been reporting good skiing conditions and said these are set to continue, which may encourage some to put on their ski boots
and head for the slopes.
In its synopsis of conditions today (December 14th), it stated: "Another great day on the hill today with good vis[ibility] and snow conditions. The snowpack is crisping up further with the lowering temps."
And tomorrow will also offer good skiing, it stated.
The majority of the runs have been open at the resort, while all the lifts have been operating bar the Polar Express Poma.
With weathermen talking about the possibility of more wintry weather in the run-up to Christmas, now could be a good time to invest in some skiwear
For some resorts this could mean conditions being even better, while Glen Coe may be glad of having enough snow to finally commence its winter season.
Plans to open last weekend were shelved after rain broke up its snow and the site remains closed now.
