One of the highlights of the equestrian year is approaching, with the Blenheim Horse Trials set to take place between September 9th and 12th.
Those who love to put on a riding hat
can see how some of the best in the sport do it during the three-day event, which includes cross-country trials on the first two days.
Hosted in the grounds of Blenheim Palace, the event will attract crowds of many thousands as top names in the sport come with their equestrian equipment
and horses to demonstrate their skills and compete for prestigious prizes.
The event will also have a range of trade stands, although those looking for items of equestrian clothing
or horse care
will be able to get these at their nearest Go Outdoors store.
Visitors may also use the event to see Blenheim Palace, famous for its baroque architecture as well as its vast grounds.
One of its biggest claims to fame is being the birthplace of Winston Churchill.
