Fans heading to the Leeds Festival with their camping equipment will not be able to see Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All, after the band was nominated twice ahead of the MTV Video Music Awards ceremony.

With Tyler the Creator up for the artist of the year gong and Yonkers on the shortlist for best video, the band has apologised to fans for their late withdrawal and has said anyone with a Leeds ticket will get a pre-sale option on tickets for their next gig in the north of England.

The group said: "We apologise to anyone who was looking forward to seeing them live and will do whatever it takes to make it up to them," describing the situation as "extremely unique".

However, fans will not be deprived of good bands to enjoy, with the festival still set to feature the likes of Muse, Elbow, Pulp, The Strokes, Seasick Steve and Thirty Seconds To Mars.
